Your Bank of Colorado Account Number will be very similar to your existing number. The first 2 digits will change to 55. The last 8 digits of your account number will remain the same. If your current account number is less than 8 digits then we will add zeros until it reaches a total of 10 digits. For example, a six-digit account number of 123456 would now be 5500123456. An eight-digit account number of 12345678 would now be 55123456. A ten-digit account number of 1234567890 would now be 5534567890.

WHAT IS MY ROUTING NUMBER?

The bank routing number will change on March 7, 2015. Bank of Colorado’s routing number is 107002448. Please use this routing number when signing up for automatic payments or direct deposits AFTER March 7, 2015. If you have any automatic credits or debits posting to your account through the ACH system, they will continue to be processed and the bank will send notice to the vendor.

DO I NEED TO ORDER NEW CHECKS?

Please continue to use your existing checks until you deplete your supply. When it is time to re-order, the new routing number and Bank of Colorado’s name will need to be printed on your new checks. If you order through Bank of Colorado, we will take care of all your new information when placing the order. If you decide to reorder through an outside check provider, please make sure to include Bank of Colorado’s routing number 107002448 and the Bank of Colorado name. The new routing number and account number should not be used until AFTER March 7, 2015.

WHY AM I RECEIVING A SPECIAL STATEMENT?

Bank of Colorado will produce a one-time special statement as of March 6, 2014. This statement will clear out the transactions from the old system. There will be no service charge assessed on this special statement and all interest bearing checking and savings accounts will receive the interest due. Going forward, you will receive a statement on the same schedule you had in the past.

WHAT IF I RECEIVE ELECTRONIC STATEMENTS?

If you currently view your statements online, you will continue to receive an email notification when they are available and you will view them on the Bank of Colorado website. Follow the procedures under the Online Banking tab to access your accounts online.

WILL ANYTHING CHANGE WITH MY READY RESERVE LINE OF CREDIT?

If you have an existing ready reserve line of credit associated with your checking account, the new payment due date will be 25 days after the date of your statement. Accounts that currently have a ready reserve line of credit will not be eligible for the Overdraft Privilege service.

HOW WILL SERVICING OF MY MORTGAGE LOAN CHANGE?

The servicing of your mortgage loan is being transferred, effective February 2nd. This means that after this date, the name of the servicer of your loan will change. Nothing else about your mortgage loan will change. Montrose Bank is the current servicer for your loan. On February 2nd, your new servicer will be Bank of Colorado. If you have any questions regarding the servicing of your loan please contact your local branch.
