LOAN DOC SPECIALIST
Job Description
- Type and prepare Promissory Notes and full loan packages in an accurate and efficient manner.
- Review loan documentation for completeness, correctness, and compliance.
- Type and prepare modification documentation for existing loans.
- Performs maintenance on document tracking ticklers to update all information (dates, recurrences, grace periods, etc.) needed in regard to loan files.
- Assist branches in error resolution.
- Review and assist branches with data accuracy in lending programs.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Transition opportunity into the LPC Loan Specialist role.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Communicate effectively in-person and otherwise with all coworkers and customers, both during regular business hours and before and after regular business hours, if necessary.
- Knowledge and experience with bank loan operations, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge and experience with loan documents and loan processes.
- Knowledge of basic loan terminology.
- Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Skill in communicating effectively with management, customers and co-workers.
- Skill in customer relations.
- Detail Oriented and Problem-Solving abilities including basic loan math.
- Ability to work as a team player.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous banking experience or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience with common loan terminology preferred.
