A Colorado native, Bill Deter serves as Regional President at Bank of Colorado.  Bill’s role encompasses Aspen to Rifle and Craig.  With 33 years of banking experience, he brings industry expertise and long-standing relationships to the communities he serves.  He spent the first 20 years of his career in the Denver metro area, building a strong foundation in commercial and community banking before transitioning to the western slope.

Throughout his career, Bill has been committed to relationship-based banking and helping local businesses and families succeed.  He and Bank of Colorado believe strongly in giving back to the communities where he lives and works. He actively volunteers with various nonprofit organizations and community initiatives. 

Outside of work, Bill enjoys Colorado’s outdoors and spending time on the river with friends, family, and fish.
